Digital Scoring – why should we use it?
MiScore is a lot more than a big improvement in the way we score (which is so much easier than a scorecard).
MiScore provides benefits to everyone in the club.
Players through simpler automated scoring, live leaderboards, direct distance to the pin, live scoring statistics, coffee orders (coming shortly) to name a few.
Course Superintendent receives pin placement history and player movement around the course for maintenance planning.
Match Committee can produce results quicker and more accurately as scores are submitted by phone from the finishing hole. Pace of play can be monitored, reported on and improved from the live data on player movement.
The governing bodies R&A, USGA and GA have approved and endorsed MiScore as well as encouraging the use of digital scoring at clubs globally.
