The Club’s premier annual golf event, the CMI Mount Lawley Classic was played on the weekend over 36 holes in superb conditions.

Mount Lawley member Kim Evans, playing off a handicap of 13 was victorious with a winning nett score of 141, with consistent rounds of 71 on day one and nett 70 yesterday.

Martin Doyle was runner up with a nett score of 142, while Kurt Tenio was third with a two round nett total of 143.

Former junior member Nick Vogel was awarded the best Gross with a two round gross score of 150 (rounds of 76 and 74), while current Junior pennant player Jordan Doull was runner up with a two round gross total of 153 after shooting 153 (rounds of 74 and 79).

The Club received many complimentary remarks from both members and visitors regarding the conduct of the event and condition of the course, and this together with the weather made for a most enjoyable two days.  Well done to the ground staff and hospitality staff for all their efforts to help make the event a success.
