We are saying Farewell to Rhys Hensel, Assistant Course Manager, on Tuesday, April 22.
Moving over from Victoria in 2020, Rhys has been on the course maintenance team for the past five years, working his way up into his current management role. Throughout his time at MLGC, he has been highly regarded by the staff for his personable nature, work ethic, and passion for improving the golf course.
Rhys was instrumental in the success of the Greens Replacement and Fairway bunker projects. Before his position at MLGC, he worked closely with the OCM team during the redevelopment of Peninsula Kingswood Country Club in Victoria. Rhys and his young family are set to travel around Australia this year with the aim of settling back into Victoria at some point.
We congratulate Rhys on a highly successful period on the course team and wish him all the very best for the future with his partner Mia and newly born son Finn.
