GRP Weekly Update

CLICK HERE to listen to this week's update from General Manager - Troy O'Hern and hear from members give their thoughts on the project and Club.

WOOD CHIPPING

Members may have seen and heard the "Wood Hog" chipper working through the area to the left of the 7th hole this week. This area houses timber from the course which has been piling up over 20 plus years and is being converted into mulch.

It is important to note the Club has not removed any trees outside the terms of our lease agreement and converting the large timber logs to mulch is required to reduce the risk of fire. The Club has been liaising with City of Stirling and DFES to ensure this work is done.

If any member has a concern or question about maintenance work on course please contact the General Manager in the first instance.

DRIVING RANGE

The Driving Range will remain closed for an extra hour on Monday morning to allow for mowing and top dressing of the new practice tee.

The range will now open at 11:00am on Monday 7th October.

Say G'day campaign today Friday 4th October, a vital initiative by St Bart's aimed at raising awareness about homelessness in our community.

Today buildings across Perth will light up blue as a powerful symbol of support, and we are asking for your help to spread the message. The purpose of Say G'day is simple yet impactful: encouraging people to acknowledge those experiencing homelessness. A small gesture, like a greeting, can make a significant difference in someone's life.

Click on the link below to listen to the story of Hosea - one of St Bart's current residents. Hosea highlights the reality of "feeling invisible" when people would ignore him or turn away and how the simple act of a conversation can make all the difference.
