Course Care

There has been a noticeable neglect in the levels of Course Care in recent weeks.  There are far too many unfilled divots, a large number of unrepaired or incorrectly repaired pitch marks on the greens, and the bunker raking is in general, below standard.  Please repair your pitch marks, chop in divots and lightly sand, and when leaving a bunker, lightly push the sand away from you as you back out of the bunker.  When leaving the bunker, please  rake it as if you are going to be the next person playing out of it.

Due to the increased number of shotgun starts and additional workload on staff during the final phase of the GRP, it has been decided to set all GPS Pin Positions for MiScore to the middle of the green.  This will be a significant time saving for the Grounds Staff at this busy time.

From today, MiScore will only give you distances to the middle of each green.   This will be in effect for the time that we are playing the temporary course.

Fairway Bunkers

As work continues on the shaping of the new fairway bunkers, we will have some hole closures next week.

Monday 8th July - 12th hole will be closed, please walk the hole.

Tuesday 9th July - 11th Hole will be closed.  Please give yourself 2 Stableford points and walk to the 12th Tee.

Additionally, the Grounds Staff has set up designated entry points for all the new Fairway Bunkers on holes 11, 12 & 18.  Entry to these bunkers to retrieve your ball must ONLY be from the set entry points.   As you do not need to rake the new fairway bunkers, retrieving your ball via these set access points will not be a great inconvenience.

Drop Zones remain in place for all areas that are currently GUR.
