GENERAL MEETING | CANCELLED

Dear Match,

Please be advised the Board received a letter of resignation and as such the motion proposing the expulsion of that member has been rescinded.

Therefore, the General Meeting scheduled for Monday 31^st July at 6:00pm has been cancelled.

It is with a heavy heart we inform Members that Brendan Wong has resigned from his positions at the Club.

Brendan has accepted a position as Assistant F&B Manager at the Perth Convention Centre. Brendan joined the MLGC team in 2020 and over the past 3 years has developed strong relationships with members and staff. Brendan's commitment to ensuring every person who visits the Club has a positive experience is outstanding and he will be sorely missed. Brendan's last day at MLGC will be Thursday 20th August.

Although we are very disappointed to see Brendan leave Mount Lawley, we wish him every success in his new role. Please make sure to catch up with him before he leaves and say farewell.

We have a very special afternoon celebrating 30 years of Peter Lehmann "Stonewell" iconic wines coming up on Friday, August 11^th

This is a one off event and I'm proud to say that we were the only club selected to host this amazing masterclass and luncheon and bookings are very limited.

We will be starting with a masterclass showcasing 6 vintages of the Stonewell, this iconic wine has received many awards over the years.

After we have soaked up not just the wines but all the interesting facts about these wines we will move into the Lawley room for a fabulous luncheon, showcasing more of their amazing range.
