Thank you to Dean from Carnaby Crusaders for visiting Mount Lawley Golf Club last Monday.

The Black Cockatoo education session was a resounding success. Dean, with two delightful Cockatoo sidekicks, a Red Tailed and a Carnaby, outlined the struggle Cockatoos face in finding suitable nesting and feeding sites.  

Dean congratulated the Club on the great work being done with the planting regime and was impressed with the photos of cockatoos feeding on the course, the good numbers of birds a testament to the Club's vegetation management.  

Dean was given a tour of the Course and made a suggestion regarding a suitable site for the wild bird watering station he has donated to the Club.
