Members may have noticed some new course furniture to the left of the first tee and outside the buggy storage area. The new bins and sand boxes are samples of proposed new furniture to be positioned on the golf course in time for opening early 2025. New tee signs for all holes are also being produced.

Unfortunately, when removing the old sand box and bin on the first tee, the drink fountain was damaged. New drink fountains are included in the course furniture upgrade, but the earliest we can replace the fountain is 3 - 4 weeks away. We apologise for the inconvenience and encourage members to ensure they have water on hand before proceeding to the first tee.

Some areas on the new practice putting green located in front of the clubhouse (left of the new first tee) have been affected by disease and plugging from the nursery with healthy sods has been done this week and will be completed next week.

It is normal for new greens to be susceptible to disease not long after germination and we have decided to plug the affected areas as opposed to nursing them back to health.

Note, the total area of the stage 3 greens is circa 5,255m2 and overall, the coverage and health of the new greens is exceptional given it's only been 5 weeks from seeding.
