CONGRATULATIONS

2024 Birthday Cup Winner | Callum Partington

Thank you to our Sponsors

Medihire & Sales (through members Alan Matthews and Tanya Woods)

A member information session was held Thursday evening 2nd May at which Course Architect Mike Cocking (OCM) talked through the third and final stage of the Greens Replacement Program (GRP) and answered questions raised by members.

Mike attended the session via Zoom and to view Mike's presentation CLICK HERE.

Following Mike's presentation, our Course Manager Rod Tatt informed members on how the course will be set up during the stage three GRP works and the routing. The main points to note being.

  • The course will remain 18 holes during the works, with four temporary greens in play. However, only 17 holes will be physically played, with the current 10th hole out of play and all players receiving the equivalent of 2 stableford points for this hole.
  • The current 15th hole will be out of play, with the 19th hole brought into play to replace this par 3.
  • Movement around the northern and western side of the clubhouse will be a challenge during the construction works and members will be regularly updated on how this will be managed as we lead up to, and as the work progresses.
  • When construction commences on the driving range a bottom tee area will be used. This will restrict the length of the range and therefore irons only will be permitted.
  • An all-weather practice tee will be installed at the rear of the new driving range and as soon as available, this will be brought into use and the bottom tee closed.
  • The 17 holes will be played in a different order to how they are currently played and to view a map of the course routing during stage three works CLICK HERE.

Further information will be communicated to members leading up to the works commencing. If members have any questions regarding stage three of the GRP, please contact General Manager Troy O'Hern.
