BRAYDEN McCUBBING

Brayden has been working in the industry for over 9 years now, and moved to Mount Lawley Golf Course in February of this year. He is a Certified PGA Professional, having completed his PGA Traineeship in 2018 with the intention of learning about all things golf. During his traineeship he found he didn't have a particular passion for any singular thing, but rather enjoyed the diversity of all skill sets the golf industry has to offer.

With roots still based out in the wheatbelt, where he grew up, Brayden has a passion for heading back to the country during the winter months to bring golf to communities that would otherwise go without.

Whether it's questions regarding teaching, repairs, equipment, apparel, or anything else you might think of, Brayden is happy to assist.

The course staff along with help from Paul Hockridge have been busy over the past two weeks stripping grass from the green complexes and removing the reticulation system on holes 12, 13, 14 and 16.

The OCM shapers arrived onsite last Monday and commenced work on the 14th green complex. The base of the green and the bunkers have been shaped in preparation for OCM architects to fine tune later in the month.

The base of the 12th and 13th greens will be constructed next week and then onto the 16th green complex.
